My daughter has synesthesia, and is frequently overloaded with sensory stimuli due to noisy environments. This blanket grounds her and helps her feel more secure. She loved choosing the colors and picked lavender and pale blue, because those are the colors she sees on a calm morning. This child has not napped willingly in 9 years unless she has been miserably ill. As soon as it arrived, she draped it over herself and visibly relaxed. She said she felt like she could take a nap right there.
On the technical side, shipping was fast, the blanket is very well made, the glass beads are absolutely worth the extra cost, and I would absolutely do this again. I've aready recommended Sensory Goods to the two moms I know who have kids with processing disorders, and one mom who has kids who don't.
